Step 4 Aaron's Acne Cure

As you can see in the photos after the first 3-day fast, I still had quite a bit of acne and flare-ups. The acne was definitely slowing down, but since mine was so severe, I decided to do a second fast about 1 month after the first one.

In the book Acne Free in 3 Days , they recommend you wait 3-4 weeks before doing an additional fast.

One thing that you must keep in mind, especially if you have severe acne like I did, is the fact that no matter what treatment you decide to go with, it will probably take many months if not years to totally conquer your acne.

I had decided, after trying many over the counter products and going to a dermatologist that I was going to give this program at least a year before deciding to stick with it or change to something else.

In the end, it took nearly 8 months for my face to start looking clear again. I still have breakouts once and awhile. I re-analyze my diet when this happens. I will probably try to do a 3-day fast once a year just to keep up the results.

As you can see in the before fast #2 and after fast #2 photos, the acne actually looks a little bit worse. This can be very disappointing when you have seen some results in the months before.

It does say in the Acne Free in 3 Days book that your acne may get worse before it gets better. Remember that you have to stick with the program for at least 6 months to a year to see if it will really work. If I had stopped after the second fast, I would probably still be battling with acne.

As you can see in the below photos, my acne is still pretty severe. This is the Before picture. Also, my acne actually got a little worse after the second fast. Not to worry, as this sometimes is the rule - It has to get worse before it gets better.
